Over 18 student accommodation in the UK

Westgate Halls are for those students who are 18 and over. It provides superb self-catering or full board student accommodation for 160 residents.

Within this over 18s accommodation, all rooms are single and en-suite with some having been specifically designed to meet the needs of disabled students.

Minimum stay 2 weeks.

Communal Facilities

There are shared kitchen facilities in the flats which accommodate 6 students

The over 18 student accommodation has a variety of communal facilities including:

Communal common room with TV and DVD player.Food and drink vending machines available 24 hours a day.

A bed pack containing a duvet, pillows and bed linen may be purchased from Westgate upon arrival.

Laundry

Laundry facilities are available to all residents in Westgate. A coin operated laundry with washers and dryers is located on the premises.

Catering

Self-catering and full-board are both available so please advise when applying. Kitchen and communal areas are cleaned daily. Students are responsible for the cleaning of their own room and en suite facilities.

Our priority is student safety

Westgate is a secure building with a swipe card entry system for each block, flat and individual room. There is a Halls Supervisor available between 8.30am and 10.00pm. After 10.00pm a Security Warden is on duty solely for the Halls of Residence.

Holiday periods

Westgate hall of residence is open over holiday periods meaning that student residents of the hall can stay in Westgate over holiday periods. Alternatively if the students intend to visit home they do not need to take all their belongings with them.
